亨利·亞當斯(Henrie Adams, 1954~2022)出生於荷蘭白村(Thorn)，8歲開始演奏雙簧管，10歲時加入荷蘭白村聖米迦勒交響管樂團(Harmonie St. Michael van Thorn)，在漢斯·佛里森(Heinz Friesen)和著名單簧管獨奏家華特·博伊肯斯(Walter Boeykens)指揮下演奏，1979年進入荷蘭馬斯垂克音樂院(Conservatorium Maastricht)師從安東·蓋爾雪斯(Anton Kersjes)、盧卡斯·維斯(Lukas Vis)和皮耶·蓋伯斯(Pierre Kuijpers)學習雙簧管與指揮，並參加了皮耶·德沃(Pierre Dervaux)與安立奎·賈西亞·阿森錫歐(Enrique García Asensio)的指揮大師班。
曾擔任馬斯垂克格林小交響樂團(Orkest Sinfonietta Geleen)、荷蘭海塔森「聯合」交響管樂團(Harmonie l’Union Heythuysen)、荷蘭維爾特「聖喬瑟夫」交響管樂團(Kerkelijke Harmonie “St. Joseph” Weert, 1987~1989)、梅約「統一」交響管樂團(Harmonie Eendracht Meijel)及瓦倫西亞自治區青少年管弦樂團(Joven Orquesta de la Comunidad Valenciana, 1992~1999)指揮與荷蘭白村聖米迦勒交響管樂團(Harmonie St. Michael van Thorn)、西班牙巴賽隆納市立交響管樂團(Banda Municipal de Barcelona ; Barcelona Municipal Band, 2014~2016)副指揮。
並曾客席指揮荷蘭林堡交響樂團(Limburgs Symfonie Orkest)、荷蘭“約翰·威廉·弗利索”皇家軍樂隊(Koninklijke Militaire Kapel “Johan Willem Friso”)、比利時皇家禁衛軍交響管樂團(Royal Symphonic Band of the Belgian Guides)、荷蘭馬斯垂克音樂院交響樂團(Symfonieorkest van het Conservatorium Maastricht)、西班牙畢爾包交響樂團(Orquesta Sinfónica de Bilbao)、西班牙馬德里市立交響管樂團(Banda Sinfónica Municipal de Madrid)、西班牙拉科魯尼亞市立管樂團(Banda Municipal de La Coruña)、西班牙阿利坎特市立管樂團(Banda Municipal de Alicante)、西班牙卡斯提亞-萊昂自治區青少年管樂團(Banda Juvenil de la Comunidad de Castilla y León)、西班牙聖地亞哥·德·孔波斯特拉音樂院交響管樂團與管弦樂團(Banda y Orquesta Sinfónica del Conservatorio de Santiago de Compostela)、西班牙瓦倫西亞交響樂團(Orquesta Sinfónica de Valencia)、西班牙埃斯特雷馬杜拉交響樂團(Orquesta Sinfónica de Estremadura)、美國波特蘭節慶管弦樂團(Portland Festival Orchestra)、瑞士聖莫里茲國際管樂團週管樂團(Internationale Blasorchesterwoche St. Moritz)、瑞士極光交響管樂團(Aulos Sinfonisches Blasorchester)。
從1989年到2019年，擔任西班牙布紐「藝術」音樂協會交響管樂團(Banda Sinfónica de la Sociedad Musical La Artística de Buñol)音樂總監30年。曾於2001年7月參加50週年的第14屆世界管樂大賽(WMC)最高級別音樂會組獲得首獎-世界冠軍，除此之外，也多次獲得西班牙瓦倫西亞國際管樂大賽 (CIBM Valencia)與西班牙歐提亞國際管樂大賽(CIBM Vila d’Altea)首獎，更因此獲得歐提亞國際管樂大賽頒發金指揮棒獎(指揮領導樂團比賽史上三度獲得首獎)。也與樂團錄製超過30張CD/DVD，在2001年時更由荷蘭管樂出版公司World Wind Music頒發金唱片獎，紀念售出樂團超過20,000張CD。

2007年起，負責拉斯·帕爾馬斯與特內里費島高等音樂院交響管樂團(Banda Sinfónica del Conservatorio Superior de Las Palmas y Tenerife)指揮課程。
2008年11月以來，擔任卡斯特詠交響樂團(Orquesta Sinfónica de Castellón)首席指揮。
2014年起，擔任西班牙切爾瓦「聖賽西莉亞」協會樂隊(Banda de la Sociedad “Santa Cecilia” de Chelva)指揮。
2018年起，擔任西班牙馬約卡島薩克斯風樂團(Mallorca Saxophone Orchestra)首席客座指揮。
2022年11月26日，63歲時因病過世。
